All areas of the home are accessible to you as the guest with the exception of an owner's closet, a locked laundry closet and a locked shed which are all used to house supplies for cleaning and maintenance.

Head upstairs to find both king suites, thoughtfully designed to blend cozy mountain charm with upscale comfort. Each bedroom features luxurious linens, blackout shades for a restful night’s sleep, a smart TV, and a private ensuite bathroom—offering the perfect place to recharge after a day of exploring the mountains or lounging by the fire.

The ensuite bathrooms are stocked with full-size Public Goods toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. You'll also find plenty of plush towels, washcloths, and hand towels, plus a blow dryer in each bathroom for added convenience.

Downstairs, a half bath makes it easy for everyone to freshen up without heading upstairs.

On the main level, the cozy living room is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the serene woodland setting right inside. Kick back on the plush seating, enjoy the warm glow of the gas fireplace, or settle in for a movie night on the smart TV. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, rainy day reading, or evening chats.

Upstairs, the second lounge area is a true retreat of its own, with expansive windows that give you that magical treehouse feel. The oversized sectional invites everyone to sprawl out for movies, puzzles, or game night fun—and it even converts into a comfy extra bed for two (a favorite for kids or extra guests!).

When it’s time to relax and unwind, the hot tub is the perfect place to soak while taking in the peaceful woodland views. For cozy evening gatherings, enjoy the warmth of the outdoor wood-burning fireplace, a great spot for chatting under the stars.

And for the ultimate treat, grab the s’mores ingredients provided and gather around the firepit to roast marshmallows and create lasting memories with friends and family.


Please note that the property is equipped with a Ring camera situated at the exterior of the house, actively recording for security purposes. The camera captures footage of the front driveway and parking area. Rest assured, it is configured to respect your privacy and does not have visibility into any interior spaces. There is also a trail camera situated near the deer feeder so we can see our deer friends when we are away.


ACCESSIBILITY NOTE:
A portion of the road leading to Buckhaven Lodge is gravel, but rest assured it is safe to drive. Our driveway is a little steep, yet it's completely manageable, and 4-wheel drive is not required for your visit.
